Packaged Press is a single-source electronic publishing system. It tries to be as simple and as easy-to-use as possible. A distinguishing feature of Packaged Press is that it makes use of commonly available word processing applications, like Microsoft® Word, to author semantically rich content.
Under the hood, Packaged Press is based on XML and XSLT. All documents are stored as DocBook and XSL stylesheets are used to create all output formats.
Packaged Press also supports Apple Pages and (soon) Open Office.
